Update

A bit has happened since last I wrote. Tara is a few weeks from our new baby. AnnMarie sure is active now. She is jabbering a lot, and has a few words down. The kids are consistently getting a lot out of scriptures. Lydia's reading is far better, having approved as she reads outloud each day.

Varsity scouts is going stronger. I got out the details to each team. Everything is firming up. This weekend we will be laying out the course.

The EQ is getting better. I feel better about it now. Both counselors are somewhat back. They are kind of weak though. They need to focus on basics, like reading scriptures, prayer and keeping the commandments.

We are combining the high priests and EQ home teaching. It should allow us to have smaller areas to teach. The hope is that each area is watched over by a small group of MP holders. Right now we are reviewing the areas and have split the wad into twelve areas. I am thinking of having each area run by a district leader like a mission. When there are needs, we turn to thay district leader to meet those needs.

It works in the mission field. Why not here? Our ward is so large that we need it.
